Silicone Superflex Hose with meta-aramid for improved high temperature flexibility and excellent resistance to ozone, UV and moisture. Suitable for wide range of applications.

Superflex Hoses can be easily fitted onto applications which may otherwise have required a shaped hose, therefore avoiding the cost for tooling. The highly flexible wire reinforced hose designed is to withstand pressure and also prevent collapsing under vacuum. A quick fit solution with all the quality and performance of a silicone hose.

Lathe-built using material plies and a wire helix.

TYPICAL SIZES

Available in a range of bore sizes from 12.7mm to 60mm and lengths with 1 metre being the most cost effective option.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Larger bore sizes are available, however the unique flexibility properties begin to dissipate as the bore size increases.

MANUFACTURING OPTIONS

The choice of silicone used for the integral liner gives the option to make the hose oil/fuel resistant, FDA approved or fire retardant. 

TEMPERATURE RANGES

 -65˚C – 220˚C (para-aramid).

WORKING PRESSURES

Operating pressure minimum 3 bar with a burst pressure of approximately 24 bar. Excellent with positive and negative pressure.

COLOURS

Black, blue, green, red and white. Other colours may be available. Please contact the technical sales team.
