Employee Crane Training Completed
Employee Crane Training Completed for four members of our team, delivered by C D R Training Ltd, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to safety, competence, and best practice across our operations.
The training was delivered on site at Goodflex Rubber and focused on the safe operation of Jib cranes, lifting slings, and lifting frames within an industrial environment. It combined classroom-based theory with practical, hands-on assessment to ensure operators fully understand both the regulatory requirements and the real-world application of safe lifting techniques.
Key areas covered during the course included correct sling selection, load assessment and stability, safe use of lifting frames, awareness of lifting angles and sling tension, and operator responsibilities when working with lifting equipment. Particular emphasis was placed on safe positioning, maintaining clear distances from suspended loads, and understanding individual responsibility during lifting operations.

All participants successfully passed both the theory and practical elements of the course and are now certified to operate lifting equipment up to a rated capacity of 500kg. The certification is valid until 2028, supporting ongoing compliance, refresher planning, and continued competence.
Regular investment in training plays a vital role in maintaining a safe working environment, reducing risk, and ensuring our team has the knowledge and confidence to carry out lifting operations safely and efficiently. By working with accredited providers such as C D R Training Ltd, we ensure our training aligns with recognised standards and supports continuous improvement across the business.
Well done to the team on completing the course and demonstrating their commitment to maintaining high safety and operational standards.
