Goodflex: Successful Exhibition at Hillhead 2022 for Silicone Manufacturers

Goodflex Rubber Co., one of the UK’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of silicone hoses, mouldings and assemblies were very happy to get ‘back to business’ exhibiting at Hillhead 2022. After a four-year gap for the show, Goodflex Rubber were finally able to showcase its silicone hose products and services at the largest quarrying, construction, and recycling exhibition in the UK.

New Silicone Hose Stand Design

With just under 18,500 unique visitors, Hillhead 2022 proved to be one of the busiest and best-attended shows in the event’s 40-year history and Goodflex – following its move to a larger manufacturing facility – unveiled a new exhibition stand design to reflect the evolution of the silicone and fluorosilicone hose business.

Invitations to September Open Day

As the dust settled – literally – on the event held in a former Derbyshire quarry, the technical sales team at Goodflex were busily contacting the many new engineering and purchasing team members that had visited the stand. It was also wonderful to see so many existing customers at the event, enjoying not only the impressive exhibits but also the excellent weather.

Supporting New Projects with Goodflex RAPID

The focus of many enquiries were manufacturers seeking new and innovative ways to reduce costs against a backdrop of significant cost price inflation, but there were also many enquiries about Goodflex’s capability to support new projects with its Goodflex RAPID service including 3D printing, 3D scanning, CAD support with Solidworks, and testing.

Great for New Business Development

Speaking about the success of the Hillhead exhibition, Matthew Grumball, New Business Development said: “It was excellent to feel a sense of cautious normality at Hillhead and speak with so many people face-to-face about their projects and requirements.”

“It has been a very exciting time of growth at Goodflex between the move to the larger manufacturing facility and the ongoing investment in capital equipment, training academy, and staff in new roles.

“At Hillhead, it’s been pleasing to show new and existing customers how this translates into Goodflex being able to support their purchasing and engineering teams even better.
